| Hi, John,
You may tell the world that the sliders have been tested in a 65 mph
hi-side and preformed as advertised. The shear away feature allowed the unit
to absorb the full blow, and bend with the impact. The delrin ends wore away
as the bike slid down the road but saved the radiator and oil cooler.
Because of excellent protective gear I was unscathed. Because of the frame
sliders I was able to ride the bike an additional 400 miles home to Dallas.
When I took the bike in for the estimate it was a total loss.
Best Regards!
Steve Duncan
Well, as is just like me, here are a few pic's of my bike before the
smiley bag incident. Hope you may use these in any of your promo or
advertisement shots. The bike really is pretty, and the sliders/mirror
extensions take nothing away from the bike's lines, maybe even enhance it a
bit.
But one thing is for sure, BOTH products WORK, without a doubt, I am into
function over form, and your products satisfy both.
Good tidings,
Steve Duncan
